Nancy Johnson appointed director of ITV
Nancy Johnson has been appointed director of the Instructional Television Network at California State University, Bakersfield.
Mark Evans, interim director of CSUB's Extended University, made the announcement.
Johnson, who grew up in Bakersfield, has worked at CSUB for almost 13 years. Her most recent position was as coordinator of marketing and communications for Extended University. She has earned both her bachelor's degree and master's degree from CSUB.
Before joining CSUB, Johnson worked for KGET-TV Channel 17 in programming positions, and currently is the owner of a video production/communications company, Motion Media, with her husband, Mark.
"I am confident that with Nancy's education, thorough understanding of CSUB and our procedures, and her background in television, that she will be a valuable asset to our instructional programming and broadcast efforts," Evans said.
