Jon is currently researching Carbon Capture and Sequestration in the Monterey Stevens Sandstone, North Coles Levee, San Joaquin Valley, California.
Jon has also received the 2012 Geological Society of America Research Grant as well as the 2012 San Joaquin Geological Society CSUB Graduate Research Fellowship. |

John Wilson
John has been researching carbon sequestration pertaining to the oil and gas reservoirs in the Southern San Joaquin Valley Basin and forecasting San Joaquin Valley
water supply using Tulare Lake-level history.
John has also received numerous awards and recognition as an undergraduate student at CSUB and has presented his research findings at AAPG (American Association of
Petroleum Geologist) and NGWA (National Groundwater Association). |

Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and was a Chancellor’s Scholar. She also participated in the UC Education Abroad Program in Santiago, Chile. |

Victoria already has a degree in Accounting but her love for Mathematics has brought her back to CSUB to further pursue Mathematics and research. |

James Lopez
James is classifying the magnetic mineralogy within an identified excursion interval using X-ray diffraction, the scanning electron microscope, IRM analysis and various
techniques using hysteresis parameters.
James has received numerous awards while attending CSUB and is currently working for Chevron as a geologic technician for the Resources to Reserves team. |
