Overview
The CSUB Academic Internship Program is designed to give students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and tools they have accumulated during their primary focus of study to real world situations within businesses, agencies, and organizations located throughout our community.
Many employers have found CSUB students to be a valuable addition to their workforce.  Through the Internship program, employers have access to recruit enthusiastic individuals through a centralized office (CPSL).  As a student participant you will make valuable community contacts while you earn credit towards your degree. Many students are hired in permanent positions as a direct result of their placement.
Though most of our internships are unpaid, occasional opportunities arise for paid internships as well. It may also be possible to earn course credit for work performed at your current  job.
Regardless of the internship opportunity that you are given, valuable experience and insight into future careers will be gained as you implement and observe practices associated with your academic major as they apply to real world situations.
