Campus Advocate & Education Coordinator

The Campus Advocate and Education Coordinator provides individualized, compassionate and confidential emotional and decision making support to CSUB students, staff and faculty who have experienced Sexual Misconduct. All services are free. A victim/survivor's identity will not be disclosed without their permission.

Due to the confidential nature, advocates are not required to report sexual misconduct incidents to the University or police without the written consent of the victim/survivor unless elder abuse, child abuse, or potential harm to self or others is disclosed.

The Campus Advocate is available to provide advice and assistance, such as resources and options available to the victim/survivor. This includes accompaniment and explanation of law enforcement, legal, and medical processes. The Campus Advocate may serve as the victim/survivor's advisor and assist in seeking additional services. The Campus Advocate provides culturally sensitive services to individuals from all cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
