Ticket Distribution Details: To ensure adequate seating at each of the commencement ceremonies, tickets will be required for all guests. Commencement tickets are complimentary, and will be distributed at the following times:
- Tuesday, October 20 - Grad Fair, CSUB Runner Bookstore
- Thursday, October 22 - Grad Fair, Antelope Valley Campus
If students do not pick up their tickets on either of these dates, the Ticket Office cannot guarantee they will receive their full number of commencement tickets.
If their name is not on the ticket distribution list or you do not have an active application for graduation on file, you should contact their Evaluator at the Office of Admissions and Records at 661-654-3036.
Number of Tickets: Each graduate can be assured of receiving up to eight tickets if collected by October 22. However, we ask that you only pick-up the number you require so that any extra tickets can be distributed as needed to their classmates. If extra tickets are needed, please email commencement@csub.edu to request additional tickets. Additional tickets will only be distributed after October 26 and if they are available. A CSUB student ID card is preferred for ticket pick-up (However, a picture ID along with the student's ID number will work as well).
Seating Information: Each graduate can be assured of receiving up to eight tickets. However, children two years old and younger do not need tickets, as long as they are not using a seat. Graduates do not need tickets.
As there is no reserved seating, guests are advised to arrive early to get seats of their choice. Seating will begin at 11:45 a.m. Early arrival will also enable guests to get settled in their seats prior to the 12:50 p.m. start of the processional. Please note, guests must have their tickets to be admitted.
