Tickets for commencement will be available for pick-up during Grad Fair.
Each undergraduate student will receive up to six (6) tickets. Each graduate student will receive up to eight (8) tickets.
To ensure adequate seating at each of the commencement ceremonies, tickets will be required for all guests. Commencement tickets are complimentary and will be first distributed at Grad Fair. You must present either your CSUB ID card or picture ID to obtain tickets. A friend or family member may pick up your tickets if he/she shows your identification card, if you are unable to come during Bookstore or AV hours.
We ask that you only pick- up the number you require so that any extra tickets can be distributed as needed to your fellow graduates.
If you do not pick up your tickets by the times mentioned above, we cannot guarantee you will receive your full number of commencement tickets.
If your name is not on the ticket distribution list or you do not have an active application for graduation on file, you should contact your Evaluator at the Office of Admissions and Records at 661-654-3036.
Grad Fair Information
We hope you will be able to join us for Grad Fair at the Runner Bookstore in May 2015 (dates to be announced). In addition to picking up your commencement tickets you can also:
Purchase your cap and gown - also available at the bookstore throughout the quarter.
Order diploma frames and announcements - you can also order announcements online.
Have your portrait taken - you will need to reserve a sitting in advance.
Each guest will need a ticket to enter the commencement ceremony. However, children two years old and younger do not need tickets as long as they are not using a seat. Graduates do not need tickets.
Ticket allocation is based upon the actual number of students participating in each ceremony, capacity of the venue and to ensure that everyone enjoys the celebration. Your graduation from CSUB is a major milestone in your life, and we wish that we could issue an unlimited amount of tickets for your loved ones. However, we must accommodate some guests for all of our students.
It is unethical and unacceptable for student to engage in selling or purchasing of commencement tickets, and continued solicitations to sell commencement tickets could result in student conduct sanctions.
