Dear CSUB Senior,
Congratulations! All of us – the faculty, staff and administration of CSUB – would like to commend you for a job well done and let you know that not only are we proud of your accomplishments, we are elated that another CSUB student has joined the growing ranks of our Alumni Association.
Your upcoming graduation ceremony will be on Monday, November 30, 2009 in the Icardo Center at 1:00 p.m.
Graduates will assemble in the Old Gym beside the Icardo Center at noon. The processional will start promptly at 12:50 p.m. Details about all commencement activities can be found on the commencement website at www.csub.edu/commencement. A campus map and information regarding special accommodations for your guests can also be found on the commencement website.
We hope you will be able to join us for Grad Fair on October 20th at the Runner Bookstore or on October 22nd at the Lancaster University Center in Antelope Valley. At Grad Fair you can:
- Purchase your cap and gown – also available at the bookstore throughout the quarter
- Order diploma frames and announcements - you can also order announcements online
- Have your portrait taken - you will need to reserve a sitting in advance
- Pick up your commencement tickets - Student ID is prefered for Pickup (However, a picture ID may be used along with your student ID number)
The Alumni Association will be there to cheer you on and to sell flowers for your special graduation day. Proceeds from the flower sales help support alumni events and activities. This is a great way for your family and guests to show how proud they are while helping your alumni association.
