This announcement page will be updated as needed to keep conference attendees informed as to
the lasest happenings on the CONFERENCE CENTER grounds. If you have questions, please E-mail them
immediately at the CONFERENCE OFFICE. As to the Conference itself, check first with the Information
Office located on the Fifth Floor.

Wednesday, November 4th
1. Welcome to day two of the Teaching On-Line Conference. A little slow in
getting started today but everything is evidently working with one exception:
The Transcript from yesterday's Assembly Hall. That should be up and running
in several hours.
2. The Transcription Center on the Sixth Floor is designed so that the
Discussion area may still be activated if you have additional comments.
Yesterday's (Tuesday, November 3rd) Workshops may be found in the Session
One area of the Transcription Center. Today's Workshops will be posted
tomorrow in the Session Two area.

Tuesday, November 3rd
1. Welcome to the first day of the LERN Conference about Teaching On-Line.
You may join us on the Fifth Floor in the Assembly Hall in the Discussion
area for introductions. Tell us little about your program.
2. Then Journey to the Sixth Floor. This is really where the SHOW is. There
are Four Workshops going on right now. We invite you to participate in each
one in the Discussion area. These Workshops will be changed by 11:00 AM
(California time) tomorrow with four new Workshops. Another change will
take place Thursday at 11:00 AM.
3. You are also invited to visit the LOUNGE and just relax or you may go to
the Global Collosquium Forum and independently talk about issues of your
choice related to education, distance learning, and teaching on-line. The
Lounge and Forum are also located on the Sixth Floor.
4. The INFORMATION OFFICE has an area which lists the CONFERENCE ATTENDEES,
This area is located on the Fifth Floor. There was an error for one of the
names listed. We will make the correction. Until then, the correct
