In accord with EO 665 (issued February 1997, revised June
1999), all students requiring developmental (remedial)
course work in English and/or Mathematics must complete the
courses within one academic year (3 quarters). Students who
have maintained a CSUB grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or
higher and have made “good faith effort” to complete
required developmental (remedial) course work in English
and/or Mathematics may be allowed an additional quarter
based upon the recommendation by the Director for the
Academic Advising & Information Center (AAIC) and
Coordinator for the Roadrunner Academic Achievement Program
(RAAP) and if approved by the Dean of Undergraduate Studies
and the School Dean of the student’s major.
