Staff contacts High School Counselors at the beginning of each school year to formalize
site visits & student participation.
Monthly visits are scheduled at the high schools or at CSUB to provide the following services:
Academic Advising
Career Choice Counseling
Post-Secondary Alternatives
Tutoring Referral
Financial Aid Assistance
Personal Counseling
Life Skills, Diversity, and Pregnancy Prevention workshops are also offered
Out of School Youth - They will participate in part-time work experience program and have monthly meetings on
campus or at the worksites. They will receive the same academic services provided to our high school students.
