Welcome to CAMP!

Since 2000, the CSUB College Assistance Migrant Program has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education to provide services to migrant identified students who enter the university as freshmen. The program is designed to assist first-time migrant identified freshmen to successfully complete their first year at the University. The program is focused on addressing the educational and social transition issues of first generation migrant college students. CAMP provides student support services in the areas of: 

  •     Participation in the summer program

  •     Individual academic advising

  •     Scholarship and internship workshops

  •     Obtaining financial assistance

  •     Gaining skills in leadership development

  •     Utilizing campus student support services

 All of the program services are designed to enhance the opportunity for migrant and seasonal farm worker students to succeed in their pursuit of a higher education.
