02/19/2008 Update on Textbook Ordering

Textbooks will be purchased through the CSUB Runner Bookstore.

Students may place orders online at www.whywaitforbooks.com. Orders can be made 24-hours a day, but they do take 24-48 hours to process. When placing orders online, please choose the section numbers that correspond to CSUB AV sections (ex. section 201, 202, 230, 250, 260).

Textbooks will be picked up at the Lancaster University Center, 45256 Division St, Lancaster, CA 93535. The scheduled dates for pickup will be posted at both the AV and LUC campuses and an email will be sent out to students.

If you are not paying for your textbooks by credit card go on the Runner Bookstore website, choose the books you want and email that information to www.whywaitforbooks.com or SM498@BNCollege.com, Attn: Tracy/Bookorders with the following:

Name, phone number, address, and form of payment, such as, Cash or check, Dept of Rehab voucher, PTTP Palmdale and AV, Veteran's Affairs

They will bag up the orders and you can pay for them at pick up. If using a credit card you will pay on-line. You must order at least two days before the scheduled pick up dates in order for the books orders to be processed on time.

They will be bringing textbooks for purchase on their scheduled dates also.

If you do not get books on one of the days, you will need to place an order over the phone with a credit card for books to be shipped to your home. The shipping charge is $6.95 for the first item and $1.95 for each additional item. The phone number to the Runner Bookstore is (661) 654-2273.
