CSUB-AV Orientation

Orientation is an exciting step in the Admissions process and we have made it as convenient as possible. After applying, submitting all the required documents (transcripts, financial aid paperwork, etc) and being officially accepted to the University you will receive your official acceptance letter with your registration form for the AV orientation. If you are going to be attending class in the Antelope Valley and receive a letter from the main campus for their orientation please ignore it and respond only to the AV invitation.

After you send back your registration form we recommend that you contact CSUB-AV's academic advising office to schedule an appointment at (661) 952-5010. During this session you will get an updated education plan and have an opportunity to ask questions about your program requirements.

Orientation is hosted in the Antelope Valley, lasts about two hours, costs $30.00, and is mandatory. There is no fee waiver for the cost.

During your orientation you will learn vital information about the University and how to navigate your time here with us; you will register for classes (if you have not completed pre-advising before hand), get your photo ID, meet some of the key faculty and staff (if available), and take a campus tour.

Upcoming Orientation Dates for Fall 2015:

December 17, 2015..........10:00 AM
