Goal I: Students will demonstrate a broad-based understanding of the sport management field.
 
Objective 1: Students will be able to detail the reasons for a specialty in Sport Management.
 
  Measurement:  Performance on SPRT 300 exams. Performance during internship in SPRT 435.

 
Goal II: Students will demonstrate problem-solving ability.
 
Objective 1: Students will be able to identify and solve unstructured problems in the field of Sport Management.
 
  Measurement:  Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 420. Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 450. Performance during internship in SPRT 435.

 
Goal III: Students will demonstrate management skills.
 
Objective 1: Students will demonstrate management skills.
 
  Measurement:  Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 300. Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 420. Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 450.

 
Goal IV: Students will demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving
 
Objective 1: Students will successfully complete a marketing project.
 
  Measure:  Score on SPRT 405 quarter-long project
 
Objective 2: Students will be able to correctly apply legal principles to the area of Sport Management.
 
  Measure:  Score on SPRT 415 assignments.
 
Objective 3: Students will demonstrate proper analysis of the situation when confronted with unstructured problems.
 
  Measure:  Score on SPRT 420 project and SPRT 300 projects.
