Program Learning Goals, Objectives and Measures
 
Goal I: Students will demonstrate a broad-based understanding of how Professional Golf management fits into the broader subject of Sports Management.
 
Objective 1: Students will be able to detail the reasons for a specialty in Professional Golf management.
 
  Measure 1: Performance on SPRT 300 exams.
 
  Measure 2: Performance during internship in SPRT 435.

 
Goal II: Students will demonstrate problem-solving ability with regard to Food and Beverage management.
 
Objective 1: Students will be able to identify and solve unstructured problems in the field of Food and Beverage management.
 
  Measure 1: Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 450.
 
  Measure 2: Performance during internship in SPRT 435.

 
Goal III: Students will demonstrate problem-solving ability with regard to Turfgrass management.
 
Objective 1: Students will be able to identify and solve unstructured problems in the field of Turfgrass management.
 
  Measure 1: Performance on projects and exams in SPRT 340.

 
Goal IV: Graduates in the field of Professional Golf management will demonstrate an attitude of continual inquiry and lifelong learning.
 
Objective 1: Graduates will continue their professional education and development throughout their careers.
 
  Measure 1: Alumni surveys, employer surveys and email messages.
