The CSUB Alumni Association Strategic Plan 2009-2012

 

Vision

Through the development of lifelong, meaningful and valued relationships, every alumnus/alumna will be a participant in the life of CSU Bakersfield.

Mission

To interact and reconnect alumni, students, parents and friends to the university and each other through strategies focused upon: connection, engagement, and communication. Further, the Alumni Association will actively advance the strategic plan of CSU Bakersfield to be the leading campus in the CSU system.

Strategies

CONNECTION: The goal of the connection strategy is to grow each membership category through instituting policies, programs, and activities which bring about the successful attainment of each performance metric.  Categories include: Regular Member, Life Member and Friend of the Alumni.

ENGAGEMENT: The goal of the engagement strategy is to provide a full-slate of events and activities consistant with its vision to engage current and potential memebrs through insitituting policies, programs, and activities which bring about the successful attainment of each performance metric.  Programming shall be provided for: Pre-Alumni, Young Alumni, Lifetime Alumni and Friends

COMMUNICATION: The goal of the communication strategy is to better communicate with the alumni, students, staff, and community through instituting improved database management/communications technology and proven communication strategies bring about successful attainment of each performance metric.
