The CSUB Alumni Association

The California State University, Bakersfield, Alumni Association creates and maintains a partnership among alumni, the University, and the community.

The Association encourages alumni to promote and support the image, activities, and programs of the University within the community. By doing so, the Association provides the alumni with services, benefits, and opportunities for continued affiliation with the University community.

Board of Directors

The Association is led by a 20 person volunteer Board of Directors made up of community leaders. Meet your 2012-13 Board or see a list of prior Board Presidents.   As of 2010, we have added Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD) assisting in the development of programming for alumni of the past ten years.

Alumni Scholarships

The Alumni Association has awarded over $30,000 in student scholarships since 1993. The Alumni Scholarship Endowment was established in 1990 with a gift of $5,000 and has now reached almost $100,000. Find out more about our scholarship fund and student recipients.

Alumni Park

In 2002, the Alumni Association Board of Directors supported the Alumni Park Enhancement Project east of the Walter Stiern Library. The project was completed in 2005. Read more about the project, our outstanding donors, and see a schematic of the park.
