Arts and Humanities Learning Community

All incoming freshmen majoring in one of the ten programs are invited to participate in the Arts and Humanities Learning Community. Research has shown that students who participate in learning communities are more engaged in campus life, have higher GPAs, and are more likely to complete their degrees in four years. As a member of the A&H Learning Community, first-year students will take courses with a cohort of other students majoring in one of the ten programs housed within the School of Arts and Humanities. Students will also be assigned a peer mentor from the Arts and Humanities Tutoring Center, who will meet with them regularly during the semester to provide academic tutoring and to help connect you to campus resources and events.
