Arts & Humanities Student Center

Welcome to the Student Center for the School of Arts and Humanities (A&H) at CSUB. Our mission is to empower students to take charge of their educational careers through a collaborative relationship with the student, faculty, and staff. Our Center has three full-time advisors who provide advising, tutoring, and outreach services in one location. To help you monitor your progress toward graduation, our website provides you with all of the tools necessary to complete your degree in a timely manner.

All undergraduate students are required to meet with an academic advisor on a regular basis. It is best to make an appointment, but you may also take advantage of the walk-in hours posted below. Please note that appointments fill up fast as the registration period approaches. We recommend that you make your appointment at least two weeks in advance of your registration date. We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with important dates such as the last day to add/drop courses, advising and registration dates, and the deadline for filing your graduation application. (See the sidebar on the right side of this page).

If you are struggling in your classes, tutoring services are available in English, French, History, Japanese, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Spanish for all students free of charge. Please check the A&H Tutoring Center website for details regarding tutor availability.

Graduate students should visit the Graduate Student Center website for more information about various facets of Graduate School, including but not limited to admissions, degree programs, financial aid, forms, and policies and procedures.
