Important Dates & Deadlines

First-Time Freshmen

Application: Students are encouraged to apply early during the initial application filing period. The initial application filing periods for first-time freshman and transfer applicants are October 1st - November 30th of the previous year for fall quarter, June 1st - 20th of the previous year for winter quarter, and August 1st - 31st of the previous year for spring quarter; however, admission applications are accepted throughout the year.

Official Transcripts: Official high school transcripts must be submitted immediately after graduation. The CSUB Admissions and Records Office needs to receive your final transcript no later than July 30th for fall admission. If you have not maintained eligibility, your offer of admission will be withdrawn.

Supporting Documents: Please see the chart below for deadlines by which CSUB needs to receive all other required documents, including (where applicable): Test Scores, Residency Questionnaire, and immigration documents such as a a copy of your Permanent Resident card, or proof of California residency.

Transcripts may be enclosed with your application; however they must be sealed in a separate envelope. Other documents may include General Education Certification, Test Scores, Residency Questionnaire, immigration documents such as a permanent resident card, or proof of California residency.
