- College Assistance Migrant Program
- College Assistance Migrant Program at California State University, Bakersfield is a
federally funded program designed to assist first-time freshmen here at the University.
The purpose of CAMP is to address the educational and social development of low income
and first generation college migrant students. CAMP provides the student with academic
advising and other support services necessary to successfully complete their first year

- Educational Opportunity Program
- A primary goal of the CSU Educational Opportunity Program is to improve access of
disadvantaged students by making higher education a possibility for prospective students
with potential for academic success. EOP aids disadvantaged students to achieve academic
success by providing a comprehensive program of support services. (661) 654-3124
- Federal TRIO Programs
- The Federal TRIO Programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed
to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes six
outreach and support programs targeted to serve and assist low-income, first-generation
college students, and students with disabilities to progress through the academic
pipeline from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs.
