Academic Affairs Facilities Master Plan Proposals

The Academic Affairs Facilities Master Plan was conceived in late 2016 as a process to identify the facilities priorities within the Academic Affairs Division.  From the start, it was clear that the information created by this process would inform the University's Master Plan and then be communicated to the Office of Chancellor.  Over the course of 4 months, Academic Programs served as the liaison between the Facilities Division and the Academic Schools to help develop School-based proposals that could be used to prioritize future building projects.

To that end, three Schools worked with architects to develop three data-based plans for new campus structures.  The campus had the opportunity to review and evaluate the proposals for the purpose of feedback.  The feedback provided by different campus constituencies was advisory to the final proposal selection.  In other words, the scores and comments completed for each respective proposal did not determine the final proposal selected in any quantitative manner.
