WGS Courses
The courses which count toward the Women's and Gender Studies Minor critically examine the social, historical, psychological, literary, artistic, philosophic, and biological roles of women and gender in seeking a fuller understanding of the multidimensional nature of personhood. This includes an examination of the ways that gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, nationality, disability, and other facets of embodiment intersect in the construction of identity and experience. These courses promote critical thinking skills and an understanding of methodologies from a variety of disciplines.
