Preadmission to CSUB Nursing

CSUB Department of Nursing recently restructured the ABSN program and traditional nursing program. The Department of Nursing now offers only one pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program.

The new program extends 7 quarters / 21 months and runs year-round. During the 21-month nursing program the focus is on nursing education. Subsequently, students that are eligible to enter the program must have completed all 13 prerequisites and have only 3 general education courses (including the graduate writing requirement) remaining for graduation with a BSN. The deadline for prerequisite completion if planning to apply to the Fall 2010 class is June 15th, 2010. Pathophysiology, which is also a prerequisite, needs to be complete by late July, 2010.

CSUB Department of Nursing is currently taking nursing applications to the Fall 2010 program.

Those planning to apply to CSUB Nursing also need to apply to the University. Applications to the University will be accepted from November 1st - November 30th, 2009. Apply to CSUB at www.csumentor.edu. You will need your CSUB student ID for the nursing application.
