MAYA 16 Cinemas & MPX Will Host the Event SEPT. 9 -15 2016

Film Star Ana Claudia Talancon to Make Appearance at Maya Cinemas

Maya Bakersfield 16 Cinemas & MPX will be hosting the tour of the Hola Mexico Film Festival September 9 -15, 2016. The Hola Mexico Film Festival is the largest Mexican Cinema festival outside of Mexico. It is a yearly event that takes place every May in Downtown Los Angeles and goes on tour during the summer months. It showcases the best of Mexican film in a variety of categories and the tour is comprised of the 10 best films of the festival. Ten films featured in this year’s tour include: Las Aparicio, Sopladora De Hoja, Made in Bangkok, A Los Ojos, Rumbos Paralelos, Paraiso Perdido, Elvira, Te Prometo Anarquia, Mr. Pig, and Los Paredidos. Each film will be shown multiple times during the 7 day duration of the festival at Maya Cinemas, a full schedule can be found at http://bit.ly/HolaFFMaya. On Saturday, September 10, Ana Claudia Talancon, star of the film Paraiso Perdido, will be in Bakersfield at the Maya Cinemas for the 7:00 pm screening with a Q&A to follow.
