MultiMedia Production Area
This area is equipped with hardware and software for producing desktop publishing,
multimedia, video editing, and other instructionally related materials.

Availability: This facility is available to faculty and registered students who are
working on instructionally-related projects and is open from 8am to 6pm, Mon.-Thurs.
and 8am to 5pm Fri.
MultiMedia Lab Function

The primary function of the Multi-Media Lab is to assist Faculty, Staff , and Students
in the preparation of various types of media for school related projects.
The desktop publishing platform is Macintosh and PC-based workstations which include
color and black-and-white scanning up to 1200 dpi, a 1200 dpi laser printer capable
of printing up to 11" x 17", and a 600 dpi color laser printer able to print up to
11" X 17" on paper and 8.5" X 11" on transparencies.

The multimedia platforms include both a Macintosh-based and an PC-based workstations.
We have the ability to digitize both video and audio for web publishing and interactive
MultiMedia production.

Non-linear video editing is available using iMovie and Adobe Premiere Elements. Various format are available for input,
output to various formats & DVD.
