Update on Infrastructure Building

If a November bond referendum passes this fall, CSUB will receive funds to begin the construction phase of a project that will upgrade its' telecommunications infrastructure. The Telecommunication Infrastructure Initiative (TII) is a CSU initiative to build a homogeneous telecommunications network on all 23 CSU campuses. This initiative will fund the upgrade of CSUB's telecommunications infrastructure and bring it to what is known as minimum baseline standards.

CSUB is currently in the final phase of planning for this project and if all goes well construction could start in Winter Quarter. There is a WEB page that explains in much more detail the scope and purposes of the project. The URL for the WEB page is: http://www.csub.edu/tii/
