Recent graduate Steve Allen has accepted a position as an 8th-grade science teacher at Beardsley Middle School. He says he'll be teaching physical science and plans on incorporating history into science: "after all, history plays a role in everything."

History alumna Carla Meyer (BA '91) graduated with a communications minor and first became a sports reporter locally.  She moved up to the San Francisco Chronicle several years ago, and is now the movie reviewer for the Sacramento Bee.
