On May 11, 2008, Landon Bogan (BA '97) and his wife Amy welcomed into the world their first child, a son, Clayton Lewis Bogan, 7 lbs. 4 oz. Congratulations!
In August, Patrick (Rick) Dodd (BA, '08) began working at Fairfax Middle School, where he is teaching Language Arts and Reading until a Social Studies job opens up. Congratulations, Rick.
Chris Livingston (BA '02, MA '04) began work full time at the Beale Library in downtown Bakersfield in September, and he has just been put in charge of the Jack Maguire Local History Room, which is full of priceless archives related to Bakersfield and Kern County history. (See related announcement on p. 5). Chris also continues to teach part time for Bakersfield College, with one course this term at the Delano Center and one at the Bakersfield campus.
