FACULTY NEWS

The history department is pleased to announce that Oliver Rink has been elected to the initial class of 150 Fellows of the New York Academy of History.  According to the election letter, "Membership in this organization, which is by invitation only, is limited to persons with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in New York history as authors, archivists, public historians, teachers and administrators."

The Academy is based at the Herbert H. Lehman Center for American History at Columbia University.
