VITAMINS

Vitamins are a chemically diverse group of organic compounds needed to maintain health. They regulate the metabolism and assist in the biochemistry of food (fast-food, may I add) digestion. Small quantities of each necessary vitamin must be provided in your diet since the body is not sufficiently able to make enough of them. It is recommended that we eat a balanced diet (What! Are you kidding? A college student’s diet) rich in vitamins but eating right (Like mom used to do it) may be nearly impossible for you, an active, often-stressed, over-worked student.

Most pharmacies today have a large inventory of vitamin supplements for sale (Yeah, more than enough, too confusing). Here, at CSUB (your Home away from Home), we have only a limited supply of vitamins on hand, but we do have the basics covered and what we may not have on hand we probably could order for you over night at a very reasonable price.

Here is our list of vitamins and vitamin supplements that we stock routinely: Certagen, a high potency, multi-vitamin, multi-mineral supplement (Once-a-Day type), and Prenatal-S, (you know!), and Stress Formula, a high potency B-complex with C (could be helpful), then our single entities, Vit B6, Vit B12, Vit C, Vit E, Calcium and lastly, Iron. Now, remember if the State stocks it, we can save you money and if we do not have it we can get it. Your always helpful, Student Health Center.
