Presentations and Outreach
The Health Education Assistant is available to tailor health presentations to suit many needs for classroom, residential life, and clubs and organizations. Popular topics include CSUB Student Health Services information and Alcohol Jeopardy. To request a presentation, please submit a Presentation Request Form. Optimally try to allow for two weeks lead time in requesting a presentation.
Watch for us around campus! The Health Education Assistant and student interns conduct outreach to the campus community to promote health and well-being. Topics include sexual responsibility, breast cancer, diabetes, nutrition, fitness, stress, alcohol and more.
CSUB Student Health Center Orientations
Orientations are available for students, staff, and faculty by appointment. Orientations are a great way for individuals new to campus to learn about available services. Orientations take approximately 30-45 minutes.
Faculty members may want to invite the Health Education Assistant out for a CSUB Student Health Services orientation to inform students about the variety of services available to them and to help students become knowledgeable healthcare consumers. To arrange an orientation, call (661) 654-3305.
