We are
in the planning stages for new rehabilitation cages and preparation
facilities. Here are some pictures of our old facilities. Watch this

we prepare the food for all of our orphaned, injured and resident
birds and mammals.
Here is a close-up of our
work area, supplemental cages and our storage facility. The wagon is
used to bring the chickens for the raptors down the path from the lab
where our freezers currently are housed.
FACT's mission is to serve as a wildlife
rescue, conservation, & education project for California State
University Bakersfield.
Local wildlife, especially birds of prey,
and endangered species, the school and the community have benefited
from FACT since 1975.
Dr. David Germano is the Director of FACT and ESA;
Ms. Marlene
Benton is the Coordinator of ESA/FACT. Students and
volunteers help in the daily operation of the facility under Ms.
Benton.
