Romberg Nursing Center

Romberg Nursing Center The Nursing building was dedicated on September 27, 1973 at CSB. This is the first building ever constructed in the state college/university system without state funds. CSB Nursing building is a $500,000 dollar building, with 10,000 square feet, funded 2/3 by a Health, Education and Welfare federal grant. Local funding was through Tenneco, the Ararkelian Foundation, and The Mrs. Charles Doré Fund. The building includes a large lecture room, intensive care unit, seminar rooms, a multipurpose room and faculty offices.

The building was designed by Eddy, Paynter, Renfro and Associates, and constructed by Fred S. Macomber Construction Co.
