Other
Personnel
The
CAR field and
lab employees are selected from among qualified graduate and
undergraduate students in the archaeology program at CSUB. To qualify as
a field crew member, a student must have successfully completed the CSUB
field archaeology course and have demonstrated the ability to do
competent work under supervision. Persons working in the laboratory must
have completed the CSUB archaeological laboratory methods course. Many of our
graduate students possess extensive experience in both field and
laboratory and are proficient in one or more specialties (e.g., lithic,
faunal, statistical analysis). In circumstances where additional
personnel are needed, persons of known experience and competence are
hired from outside the University.
