Celebrate CSUB! April 25, 2009

The third annual event was celebrated on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the main California State University, Bakersfield campus. Festivities included a daylong series of events filled with activities for an array of visitors. The campus showcased scholarly activities such as science and archeology; events to welcome alumni back to campus include the 5K Fun Run and the pancake breakfast. The Student Union, Associated Students, Inc. and Student Affairs hosted their spring carnival and club faire, and art workshops for kids makes a return. The big hits were the CSUB Idol competition and tours of the new Student Recreation Center.
