The 14th Annual Small Business Conference 2005 will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the U.C. Merced Building, 2000 “K” Street, Bakersfield, CA.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with Classes beginning at 8:30 a.m.

“The Real Story about COMPLIANCE”

Join us for an informative and frank discussion pertaining to government rules, regulations, red tape, and other associated topics and activities relating to “compliance” requirements that effect family and small businesses.  This fascinating session will include a review of new state legislation and changes in the law, along with topics addressing HR and labor, health and safety, environmental, record keeping, revenue and taxation, and pertinent California Business and Professional Code provisions.  In addition, City of Bakersfield and Kern County compliance issues will be identified.
