* PERSONAL STATEMENT:
My main scholarly and personal interests center around humans' relationships with other animal species. Research has explored this relationship. I am a reviewer of manuscripts for Society and Animals, a journal sponsored by Psychologists
for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. I consider myself an ecofeminist, and have chaired Earth Day at CSUB several times. Several years ago I began an on-campus organization named Cats.
The cats who have been rescued from campus reside at our mutual home, Catwings.
